About my new published book

I kind of have been thinking about my book that's been published. I hope that it gets at least enough attention to get the publishers to buy another book from me, but even that is a bit of a far hope. When she accepted my manuscript, Ms. Gunnar, my editor, said that two other YA sci fi books had recently been published under her imprint and were not doing too well. She asked me: did I want to try my hand at something that had failed twice? I told her yes in a heartbeat but I'm still unsure about whether or not anyone will buy my book. People don't usually buy my books anyways, and will a professional imprint make a difference?

Maybe. I can't tell. I just hope that I am able to continue writing and pursuing my passion. It's what I love to do and it's what I do best. Sometimes I just think about my stories and what I'm going to be doing next. My mind, when I think about these things, is very clear and I like that. It's what keeps me happy when otherwise I'd be living a life without much excitement. I've always wondered why people don't read my stuff. I don't think I'll ever know, but I do hope that whatever I write next will be my next great hit. So keep your eyes peeled.

The book I'm getting professionally published, The Lesser One, is I think a good book. I just hope that you guys like it as much as I do.
